Laurent Dubourg

CEO/CEO, Stirweld

 

Laurent Dubourg, PhD en soudage aluminum, est CEO et co-fondateur de Stirweld, créée en 2017 pour démocratiser la technologie du soudage par friction-malaxage. C’est un expert du soudage friction stir welding. Il a travaillé pendant 10 ans à l’Institut Maupertuis, Centre de recherche et développement de technologies industrielles. De 2003 à 2010, il était Responsable R&D au CNRC, le Conseil National de Recherches au Canada. Il est diplômé de l’INSA Strasbourg.

Laurent Dubourg, PhD in aluminium welding is CEO and co-founder of Stirweld, created in 2017 to make friction stir welding accessible. He is an expert in Friction Stir Welding and has worked for 10 years at the Institut Maupertuis, a research and development centre for industrial technologies. From 2003 to 2010, he was head of R&D at the NRC, the National Research Council of Canada. He is a graduate of INSA Strasbourg.
