Stephan has been working in the field of people development for more than 15 years across diverse industries and in different functions including Procurement, Customer Service and HR. Coming from a background of natural sciences, he entered the aerospace industry when he joined Airbus in 2006, where he has held different positions all involving implementation of new ways of working and management of change.

Stephan strongly believes in a collaborative, trans-disciplinary way to approach challenges, the power of social learning and an innate curiosity of all individuals to exchange and explore new things. Currently Stephan holds the position of Head of Business Development at AirBusiness Academy, an Airbus Group company, specialised in the design and delivery of learning solutions in the areas of Leadership, Knowledge Management, Innovation, Aviation Management and Operational Management.
