Jean ROUSSEL est Président de Sunaero Group, une PME dont le siège est basée à Lyon et qui rayonne à l'international autour de son siège Lyonnais et ses filiales aux USA et en Malaisie. L'entreprise est spécialisée dans le domaine de la maintenance aéronautique (MRO).
Après avoir occupé différents postes au sein de Direction Générale Industrielle d'Air France Industrie KLM E&M pendant 8 ans, il a rejoint une autre partie de la chaine de valeur de la filière en intégrant le Groupe Safran, division Aircraft Engines pendant 6 ans.
En 2018, Jean Roussel s'est vu confier la présidence de Sunaero Group pour structurer la transition de l'entreprise vers un modèle de prestation de service et accompagner le développement et la diversification de son offre au travers d'opérations de croissance externes.
En parallèle, Jean a rejoint en 2019 le bureau Cluster Aerospace Auvergne Rhône Alpes en tant que Vice-Président et a été élu membre du bureau du comité AeroPME du GIFAS depuis 2022.

Jean ROUSSEL is President of the Sunaero Group, an SME whose head office is based in Lyon and which shines internationally around its Lyon’s aera head office and its subsidiaries in the USA and Malaysia. The company specializes in the field of Aircraft Maintenance (MRO).
After having held various positions within Air France Industries & KLM Engineering & Maintenance directorate for 8 years, he joined another part of the chain of value of the aviation sector by joining the Safran Group, Aircraft Engines directorate for 6 years.
In 2018, Jean Roussel was entrusted with the presidency of the Sunaero Group to structure the company's transition towards a service model and to support the development and diversification of its service offer through external growth operations.

At the same time, Jean joined the Cluster Aerospace Auvergne Rhône Alpes office in 2019 as Vice President and has been elected member of the AeroSME comittee of GIFAS since 2022.
